 Maria, a highly skilled professional, possesses expertise in assisting individuals who face the complex challenge of mental health diagnoses combined with substance use. Additionally, she is well-versed in supporting those with neurodevelopmental disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), along with individuals who experience psychosocial disadvantages. Maria has been a SW from 2011 and graduated with her nursing degree in 2013, working as a SW before NDIS came out. During her time at university, Maria diligently pursued her dream of becoming a nurse, all while juggling the responsibilities of working as a disability support worker for individuals of various age groups, including both children and adults. Maria, driven by her unwavering dedication to the field, has found her true calling in providing support to those in need. Maria participated on in-home care, and extended her assistance to special schools and vacation care centres, catering specifically to children with special needs. After earning her bachelor's degree in nursing, Maria discovered a newfound passion for mental health practice. Recognising its profound impact on individuals' lives, she made the decision to specialise in this field. To further enhance her expertise, Maria pursued a graduate certificate in mental health and became an authorised mental health practitioner. Maria, with her impressive 10+ years of experience, has successfully taken on various roles in the healthcare sector. Her expertise spans different healthcare environments, including the public mental health system. Where she has served as an electroconvulsive therapy nurse, a paediatric and adolescent mental health nurse, a graduate facilitator, a discharge coordinator, a clozapine coordinator, and a clinical nurse case manager. Maria's diverse range of responsibilities showcases her versatility and dedication to providing quality care in the field of healthcare. Maria has also years of experience working for child & adolescent mental health at Children's Queensland Hospital. In addition, Maria has successfully obtained a post-graduate law diploma in migration law and practice. Maria, a devoted mother of a child with special needs, exemplifies unwavering compassion and empathy as she tirelessly supports and advocates for the well-being of others in hardships. Maria, a dedicated Support Coordinator, derives genuine fulfillment and gratification from her position. She passionately asserts,"When the day arrives and my participant gains the confidence and control to manage their own care, no longer requiring my assistance, I am happy with that, I am reassured that I have successfully fulfilled my responsibilities." 

I started in Disability in 2002 and I am based in the Gold Coast.

 I am a qualified teachers aide, and am currently studying my Diploma of Community Services, with a focus on Mental Health. I have a certificate in acquired brain injury and dementia from the University of Tasmania.

I am passionate about promoting opportunities for independence and living your best life on your terms.

I have 3 children, plus a bonus child, aged from 13-3. I love animals, reading, and cooking.

 Wade is an experienced Mental Health Nurse based in Brisbane with an outstanding 16 years of experience in the Mental Health field of both private and public health system catering for both adolescent and adult patients.   Wade will be servicing greater Brisbane area as an SC /SSC but also available via telehealth anywhere in Australia for Mental Health Risk Assessment and Emergency Intervention Planning for psychosocial participants in the community. 

Wade holds a Master of Mental Health Nursing and has a great interest in helping participants with complex PTSD, schizophrenia, eating disorders and BPD. 

Outside of work, Wade loves to cook and travel. 

 Kristina has finished a program at Griffith University where she earned a Bachelor of Business along with a Bachelor of Psychological Science. Throughout her time there, she interned at Epilepsy Queensland, volunteered in various community programs, and was involved in the university's music club. For the past three years, she's worked as a support worker, finding great satisfaction in building strong relationships with her clients, who come from diverse backgrounds and circumstances.  

Now, working with Maitre Care, Kristina is eager to expand her expertise in the NDIS sector as a support coordinator assistant and PRC.  

In her free time, Kristina enjoys relaxing through activities like reading, cooking, exploring, listening to music, playing volleyball, watching movies with loved ones, and spending time with her cats. 

Dedicated Registered nurse with 6+ years experience. After completing her Bachelor of Nursing in 2015 manahil specialised in aged care nursing and community nursing working with people of all ages, special needs and disability. However, her major work is specialising in mental health. Completing her graduate nursing in mental health, Manahil worked in youth, adults and geriatric mental health across Queensland health hospitals.

Marco studied for a bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from 2011 to 2013. While studying at university and worked as a nurse, a support worker, and/or case manager.  In 2017 Marco pursued his masters degree in Social Work, whilst he was studying he became a case manager for the youth, family, and child services. Delivering programs and counseling services in rural communities in north Queensland. Marco is  very well driven, focused, and determined. He was born  to face challenges!
