Develop individualized plans:
We will work with the participant and their family to develop personalized plans that take into account the person's unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
Provide support and resources:
We will offer emotional support and provide resources such as books, websites, and support groups to help the person and their family better understand autism and find the help they need.
Help build life skills:
We will teach and support the development of skills such as communication, social interaction, and self-care.
Help with transitions:
We will assist the participant with autism and their family during transitions, such as moving to a new home, starting school, or transitioning to adulthood.
Facilitate community engagement:
We will help the participant with autism and their family connect with resources and services in the community, such as therapy, educational programs, and support groups.
Advocate for the individual:
We will help the participant with autism and their family navigate systems and services, such as healthcare, education, and social services.
Celebrate successes:
Celebrate and acknowledge the successes and progress made by the participant with autism and their family, no matter how small.
Remember, each person with autism is unique and has their own set of challenges and strengths. As an autism recovery coach, our role is to provide support and encouragement as the participant with autism and their family navigate the challenges of the condition and work towards achieving their goals.
